TEXTILE DESIGN COMPETITION IN CONJUNCTION WITH LONDON DESIGN WEEK MARCH 2020

Vero Fabrics is offering you the opportunity to translate your own ideas into a unique Jacquard woven fabric.

It can be in any style from the abstract to the geometric and anything in between.

Creativity is at the heart of everything we do, from choosing the colour palette to selecting the weaves and the yarns. It’s a collaborative process we want you to be a part of.

Creating a bespoke fabric unique to you and your client is the ultimate luxury and as the world becomes a more homogenous place we need to nurture and protect the diversity, skill and craftsmanship developed over many years in the weaving and textiles industry.

We therefore encourage you to tap into your imagination and take part in this inventive process.

Submit your ideas keeping to the following brief: -

An all-over repeating design for drapery
Horizontal repeat size can be: - 34cm, 17cm, 11cm, 8cm, 6cm, 4cm
Vertical repeat size is not an issue
The design can be in any style you choose, geometric, floral, abstract
4 colours maximum
Design to be in JPEG/TIFF format please

The winning design will be selected by our Design Director Ottilie Stevenson and artist Rob Wyn Yates together with a small exclusive panel of Judges at Chelsea Harbour and announced during London Design Week which begins on 8^th March 2020.

There will be a short presentation in the Holland & Sherry Showroom on Friday 13^th March, where the winner will be able to meet the panel and our Design Director to discuss the next steps of bringing their fabric vision to life. This will include selecting yarns and colours from our beautiful range and a visit to the mill to see the fabric being woven.

The winning fabric will be expertly made into curtains or cushions by leading London Curtain Makers, Downers Design and will be available to view in the Holland & Sherry showroom.
